With a field staff of over one hundred fifty (150) individuals, each person meets or exceeds the training requirements set forth in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response. A&D Personnel have extensive field experience and ongoing training to insure quality workmanship and work ethics for each project.
In addition, our personnel are cross-trained to operate heavy equipment, vacuum trucks and commercially licensed vehicles, and all have full First Aid and CPR training. From years of experience performing projects requiring Level “D” to Level “A” personnel protective equipment, our team can meet the needs of the most demanding projects.
A&D conducts job specific training for all individuals in the areas of vacuum truck operation, safety, and management. In addition, they all receive hands-on training in Hydro Blasting, Line Mole Operations and Tank Cleaning to guarantee everyone’s competency in the operation, maintenance and safety of equipment.
Each year, personnel take part in an eight-hour refresher training course instructed by an OSHA certified trainer.
A&D also employs Certified Emergency Responders who have completed a rigorous training process dealing with railcar tankers, road tankers, and cylinder emergencies and are among a small, elite group in North Carolina to maintain this annual recertification process. These certified personnel have the training and experience to handle almost all situations with regard to “cold cutting”, tapping, plugging, full tankers and cylinders.
